Our Six Promises

A safe space isn't a slogan. It's a list of rules we keep.

We wrote these on our first day and we've reread them every week since. If you see us slipping, write to hello@momsbest.club. A human (one of us) will write back the same day.

PROMISE 01
Anonymous, by default.
You pick a soft name. No real name shown, ever. No phone numbers, no last names, no LinkedIn. The internet doesn't get to look up who you are when you ask a hard question at 2am.
PROMISE 02
Real humans hold the room.
Qualified perinatal professionals — midwives, therapists, and doulas — moderate in shifts. Not AI. Not volunteers. People with credentials and time, who answer DMs.
PROMISE 03
No press. No advertisers. No noise.
Every account is verified before it can post. No journalists looking for quotes. No brands looking for testimonials. The room is for moms, mothers-to-be, and the partners walking the road with them — nobody else.
PROMISE 04
What's said here, stays here.
What's shared here is confidential. Screenshots and sharing it outside are not allowed — and we act on every report: flagged content comes down, accounts are removed. Posts aren't public, can't be embedded, and aren't indexed by search engines. Your words belong to you.
PROMISE 05
Twelve moms. Same stage. That's it.
Circles, not feeds. You're matched with ~12 women in your same week or phase. No vanity metrics. No comparison-scroll. You'll know everyone's name by Wednesday.
PROMISE 06
Every guide reviewed by a clinician.
Each long-form piece carries a midwife, doctor, or therapist's name and the date it was last checked. If a study changes, we update the guide and tell you why.

Three quiet steps. You're already doing the hard one.

How matching works
1
Tell us where you are.
A two-minute, four-question intake. No data sold, no quizzes scored. Just enough to match you.
Trying · Pregnant · Postpartum · Toddler · Just curious
2
We hand you a circle.
Twelve women in roughly your same week or phase. A human-led intro thread waits for you.
12 women / circle · same stage · same week
3
Read. Ask. Listen.
Lurk for as long as you need. Use the anonymous bowl when you can't sign your name to it.
Read-only is welcome here.
30-second guides

“What to do, when …”

Four sentences. One calm voice. For the moments when you don't have time for whole articles. Every card is reviewed by a midwife, doctor, or therapist.

What to do when the baby won't latch?
  1. 1Breathe. 30-second pause. It is not an emergency.
  2. 2Skin-to-skin on a bare chest, no pressure.
  3. 3Try the lying-down position — gravity helps.
  4. 4If nothing works: pump + finger-feed. Call the midwife later, not now.

EXAMPLE: INSIDE A CIRCLE

A small group of women, all a week or two ahead of you.

Every post is tagged with how it wants to be received — tiny win, soft share, asking, holding — so the room knows whether to celebrate, listen, advise, or just sit with you.

  • 🌸Anonymous toggle on every post
  • 🤍“Hold space” reaction (no advice unless asked)
  • 🔔Optional content warnings, dimmed by default
  • One-tap exit — leave a circle silently, no note required

I cried in the cereal aisle today. No reason. Just thought you'd want to know I'm doing fine, honestly.

Asked the midwife my 'silly' question. Turns out it wasn't silly. Saved here in case anyone else is wondering.

From the room — examples

The way this space is meant to sound — example moments.

I came here at 3am, panicking. By 3:04 someone I didn't know had told me she'd been there too. That was the whole thing.

I'd been trying for fourteen months and couldn't tell anyone in my real life. Here I just said it. Eleven women said me too in twenty minutes.

The first place online I haven't deleted my account from on a bad day. It just doesn't have that energy. Everyone is here for the same reason, and you can feel it.
